STUDENT DRESS CODE
School uniforms are worn beginning in the First Grade.
School uniforms may be purchased through “Schoolbelles”
A. Uniform Code
BOYS--GRADES 1-8
Navy blue trousers or walking shorts (no denim, leg pockets or leg zippers) Belt
Light blue or white short or long sleeve oxford dress shirt
Plain white T-shirt underneath oxford
Uniform, or plain navy blue sweatshirt (no logos)
Navy blue V-neck, crewneck, or button down cardigan sweater
White, blue or black socks
Appropriate school shoes - completely black or brown (no sneakers, clogs, mules, crocs, hiking boots)
Clean, neatly groomed hair - no longer than collar length or over the eyebrows
No dyed, highlighted, or cut out patterns are acceptable
No tattoos
Long key chains are not permitted
Boys are not permitted to wear earrings of any kind
GIRLS--GRADES 1-4 Uniform jumper, slacks or shorts (uniform jumper and skirts purchased through “Schoolbelles”)
GIRLS--GRADES 5-8 Uniform skirts, slacks or shorts - vests (no denim, culottes, skorts or stretch pants)
ALL GIRLS--GRADES 1-8
Light blue or white turtlenecks or oxford blouse (No blouses with lace trim/ Peter Pan collars)
Navy blue V-neck, crewneck, or button down cardigan sweater
Belt - if slacks or shorts are worn
Uniform or plain navy blue sweatshirt (no logos)
Navy blue or white crew socks, knee socks, or footed tights (no nylons or lace tights)
Make-up, nail polish, or tattoos are not permitted
Clean, neatly groomed hair - No dyed or highlighted hair
Appropriate school shoes - completely black or brown (no sneakers, clogs, mules, crocs, hiking boots)
Only one set of earrings may be worn - small post earrings or hoops (no larger than a nickel)
No dangle earrings
Vests - August to October 31 and April 15 to June 15
**Uniform shorts - (Boys & Girls) August to October 31 and April 15 to June 15
B. Kindergarten Dress Code
Appropriate play clothes, shoes and socks
No crocs - No backless shoes
C. Dress Down Day
Students will be permitted to wear jeans, sweatpants, sneakers, sweatshirts or T-shirts.
Any sayings printed on these shirts must be appropriate for school.
No lounge, pajama pants, or short shorts for either dress down or Spirit Day.
**Dress down days will be announced in the monthly calendar, and a nominal fee will be charged and donated to a local charity.
D. Gym Attire
Students are to wear their gym uniform and sneakers to school on the designated gym day.
Gym uniform consists of uniform gym shorts and uniform T-shirt.
Uniform sweatpants may also be worn to school.
Gym uniforms must be purchased through “Schoolbelles”
Infraction of the gym uniform will result in lower gym grades
E. Dress Code Violations
**Three infractions of the dress code will result in detention.
